We are fortunate to have a facility designed for horse show events like the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center! Or as we here at home call it, “Ag East”!
We first started hosting our horse shows with the good folks at Ag East in 2000, with the 1st Annual Sunnyside Open Horse Show... and we’ve never looked back!
"North Carolina and the U.S. East Coast are now within reach of the newest, most complete Equine Facility and Agricultural Center – the "Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center". This state of the art facility is located in Central, Eastern North Carolina in the welcoming town of Williamston. Interstate access from Highway 64 by-pass will make access from North, South, and Western Points very convenient via I-95 and four lane US Highway 64."

Without a doubt, Ag East is one of the two key reasons the East Coast Open Show Circuit is "different" from most open horse show events. Our show format delivers a real mix of disciplines under one roof – from pleasure driving to Saddleseat performance to western pleasure horse shows – and we sure couldn’t do it without the help of Ag East.

Rain or shine, you’ll enjoy premium horse arena footing (the Ag East guys are masters at it!), comfortable, airy stalls and barns, and the most horse-friendly surroundings you can ask for. Why not show in the best horse show facility on the East Coast? You deserve it!
The coliseum is over 100,000 square feet, which is heated and ventilated. The indoor riding arena is 150' x 300' with permanent seating for 2,286.
Connected to the indoor riding arena you'll find a fully enclosed 75' x 125' paddock with an attached 120' x 240' covered arena. There are two outdoor 120' x 240' practice rings and three lunging rings.
Four horse barns have 296 permanent stalls, with stalls 10 ft. by 10 ft. Washing your horses is easy at our horse show events with 14 wash bays supplied by hot and cold water.
There are 100 RV sites with water, electricity and a 4-station waste disposal site. (The barns have "people" shower facilities and rest rooms!)
